     Mr. Azar is a Pacific Rim business development expert, specializing in:

     Mr. Azar has lived in Japan for over six years, in Korea for one, and is fluent in the Japanese language, including reading, writing and spoken Japanese. His services have benefited leading corporations in the healthcare, high tech and finance industries, including GE Capital, Merrill Lynch, J.P. Morgan, Dun & Bradstreet, Dial Corporation, Toyota Motor Corporation, as well as leading medical equipment, nutrition, and skin and beauty care product manufacturers.

     As an expert on U.S.-Asian business issues, Mr. Azar is often consulted by major international media. He has been a guest on CNN, CNBC, the Financial News Network (FNN), the Wall Street Journal Report, as well as on local cable television and radio shows in the United States. In Japan he has appeared - speaking in Japanese - on NHK, Nippon Television, Fuji Television, Television Tokyo's "World Business Satellite" (Japan's foremost business and financial news program) and radio shows. He has also been featured in several interviews in leading American and Japanese business publications, including Business Week, The New York Times and Crain's BtoB .

     Mr. Azar has received the Certified Management Consultant (CMC) designation, the consulting industry's preeminent certification for demonstrated achievements in client satisfaction, professional standards and ethical business practices. Fewer than 1,000 consultants have earned the CMC designation in the U.S. He is also a Director of the Institute of Management Consultants, an ex-member of the Board of Governors of the World Trade Council, and a former Director of the Japanese Center for Quality of Life Studies.

     Previously Mr. Azar worked in Asian companies, including Daiwa Securities, at the management level for a decade. His Asia-related business career spans several fields, including international marketing, global management, international finance, market research, international trade, political and economic analysis, and both the for-profit and the non-profit sectors.

     He earned a double major BA degree in International Relations and East Asian Studies from New York University; received an MA degree in East Asian political, economic and cultural affairs from Columbia University; and completed research in international marketing, global management and business law at Harvard University.
